Scope
Their old visual direction didn’t reflect the fun and excitement that needed to be expressed through their campaign. It needed to be enhanced in a way that still maintaied the brand recognition that they have built over the years through their parent organization. So I partnered with them to bring this new vision to life.
The Challenge
Alzheimer’s OC (Orange County) had recently separated from the National Alzheimer’s Association and was rebranding its fundraising events for the first time. Their key objectives were to attract corporate sponsorships and volunteer engagement through their Walk4ALZ campaign. As part of the rebrand, they needed a design solution that could speak to both participants of the walk and potential sponsors who would need to learn about the impact that this initiative was making in the community.

The Solution
After an in-depth consultation, we worked with the client as a creative partner through a collaborative process to reimagine and transform the visual identity of Walk4ALZ. This included a new and improved logo design and marketing collateral to speak to both the participants of the walk and corporate sponsors.

I approached my design decisions with a more long-term perspective, considering how even the smallest decisions would impact the brand for years to come.
I expanded the color scheme by adding a brighter and warmer orange tone—creating a more vibrant aesthetic that reflects the optimistic atmosphere and vitality of Orange County across both digital and print media. The new and improved logo combines the thread of a running shoe with an orange slice to represent the Orange County location in a way that is more youthful and fresh—conveying movement, energy, and progress.
I developed a detailed and comprehensive corporate sponsorship guide along with a trifold brochure to communicate to the key audiences in a way that was clear and concise. I was able to transform the wealth of information around the fundraiser into visually engaging and easy-to-understand formats. I also included web graphics, direct mail postcard layouts, partnership agreement fliers, and branded tshirts to further enhance the campaign.

I redesigned Walk4ALZ with a vibrant new look that helped to revitalize community engagement and elevate their fundraising potential.
The new visual direction helped to enhance the local brand presence of the organization. By aligning vibrant design with their strategic messaging, I was able to tell a compelling visual story that helped to reinvigorate their outreach efforts. Overall the event was more successful than previous years and helped to attract more community engagement and awareness towards Walk4Alz. This led to further collaborations with ALZ OC to further develop their visual brand as they continue to build momentum.
